The Tokmak Research ConsultingOffice (TRCO) of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding was set up by the order № 454 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukrainedated 18.09.2000.
In TRCO students study at such specialties: Internal-Combustion Engines, Accounting and Audit (The License MES- АВ №363634 dated 11.12.2007. Appendix 9). There is an extramural form of education on the contract basis at the expense of the juridical and private persons’ funds. Educational process takes place according to the educational schedule for a year, which was ratified by the rector. The students are formed into the groups in accordance with the place of employment and abiding place (The state dated 1.09.2009. was that 290 students studied in the TRCO). The educational process is held by the tutors of the NUOS (80%), who go because of session schedule to the TRCO in accordance with the lessons timetable and by the tutors of the Mechanical Vocational school of Zaporizhzhya National Technical University of Tokmak. 32 departments of the NUOS take part in the educational process of the aforementioned specialties.
The education in the TRCO is held in a rented accommodation, which was historically used for an educational institution.
The accommodation is categorized and corresponds to the sanitary demands. Provision of the educational area corresponds to the standards. The total area of the used accommodation is 430 square meters. The provision with the auditorium equipment is 100%. (ten rooms are equipped with the modern furniture). The level of the provision of the laboratory and practical studies with the necessary equipment is about 80%. There is a methodical room in the TRCO, where a bank of tutorials, methodical publications, discipline programs of the aforementioned specialties, seminar and training plans, laboratory tasks and tasks for the students self-work, tests sets for a complex assessment of the students’ knowledge in the certain discipline of the specialty is situated there.The programs of a pregraduation practice are developed, thethemes are dedicated and thereareworkbooks for the diplomas preparation.
The TRCO has its own library with a fund of about 12660 samples of educational literature. This library has a reading hall, which is equipped with computers with electronic publications.
The provision of students with textbooks and tutorials is 70%. The budget of costs for the educational process according to the specialties is estimated for the TRCO and the educational cost for one student according to education form is accounted on its basis. The students, who are assigned to the TRCO, study on the contact basis at the expense of private and juridical person’s assets. According to the contract terms payment for the education is fulfilled at the beginning of every semester.
The costs for the educational process holding (tutors’ salary for the time needed to hold the tuition, costs connected with assignments) are realized at the expense of money, which is received as payment for the education from the students of the TRCO.The costs for the purchase of the laboratory equipment, computers, textbooks and tutorials, publication of the methodical materials, equipment for the classrooms, accommodation lease and other costs for the educational process holding and the TRCO keeping are alsofulfilled at the expense of money, which is received as payment for the education from the students of the TRCO.
