Our University creates conditions both for education and for students’ leisure. Pro-rector of the Scientific Research and Educational Work Candidate of Technical Sciences, Assistant Professor Olena Halykivna Bidnichenko is the head of the educational work. She organizes and manages the activity of Work and Study Department, which holds different shares, discussions, lectures. A lot of attention is paid to the healthy-life style. Besides the department work with the following branches:
1. Organizing of the students’ participation in the state holidays celebrating, festivals, competitions, contests, discos, concerts in Ukraine and in Mykolayiv. Drawing of the reports, concerning held arrangements.
2. Preparation of orders, instructions and plans of the educative work arrangements.
3. Help in organization and providing of the students activities such as theatres, clubs and sport sections.
4. Collaboration with University medical centers, concerning the medical work.
5. Efficient control of the orders, arrangements, instructions execution.
6. To prepare suggestions according to the educational work in the University.
7. Social research of the students’ upbringing, educational work efficiency.
8. Preparation of the reports about the educational work.
9. Organizing of the practice, holding of the spring and summer cleaning days, buildings and hostels repair with the students help.
10. To inform deans and heads of the department about new normative documents concerning the problems of organizing and performing of the educational work.
11. Creating of the bills, announcements, invitations, appreciations, different programs etc.
12. Gleaning of information and answering the letters of the Ministry of Education and Science, answering the students and citizens complaints and proposals, concerning the problems of educational work.
13. Preparation of information and designing of stands in different branches: “University in the mass media”, “Our life today”, “NUOS professors”, etc.
14. Billboard refreshing.
15. Collaboration with students’ parliament and labor union committee.
17. Preparation, organizing, holding of the competitions of different levels among the students.
18. Gathering of documents, concerning personal history of students of special benefits (orphans, disabled people, suffers from Chernobyl disaster).
19. Organizing of lecturers work with the showing of films concerning the propaganda of the healthy life-style.
More than 17 students clubs, such as Ukrainian, political, economic and others are also working. Applied Linguistics Department, Department of Modern Languages, artistic and cultural centers “Inspiration” organize the students’ leisure time.
