GENERAL REGULATIONS
1.1. The present Regulations regulate the activity of the Scientific Organizational Sector in SRD in NUS.
1.2. The scientific research work organization sector is a structural subsection of SRD in NUS certified by the Rector according to the University structure and the contingent of employees performing the scientific research works financed at the expense of the national budget by MESU.
1.3. The activity of the Sector is regulated by the present legislation, regulatory legal documents, orders of the Rector of the University, of the Pro-Rector of scientific work, the Director of the Department as well as by the Regulations on the Scientific Organizational Sector.
1.4. The Director of the Sector is the one who reports directly to the Director of SRD.
1.5. The staff of the Sector is certified by the Rector of the University according to the contingent of employees performing the scientific research works which are financed at the expense of the national budget by MESU.
1.6. The leadership of SRD gives a room for fulfilling the work provided by the present Regulations, as well as provided with the required implement, modern office equipment, informational materials etc., and creates conditions for the constant professional development of the employees of the Sector.
1.7. The Regulations come into force immediately upon and after its passage.
1.8. The Regulations can be appended and changed on the ground of the order of the Rector.
TASKS AND FUNCTIONS OF THE SECTOR
2.1. The main tasks of the Scientific Organizational Sector are:
2.1.1. To organize and provide the modern methods of the most purposeful usage of material, financial and workforce resources, speeding-up the practical use of their results.
2.1.2. To provide the scientific subsections with the organization methodological services on every step from the planning to introduction of scientific research into the educational process or production.
2.1.3. To hold events dealing with the widening of the scientific technical contacts with the enterprises to form the potential orders for the scientific technical production of the University.
2.1.4. To organize the contracts jointly with the Directors of the appropriate subsections, to account works and execute the acts of their readiness, to take stock of the scheduled work performing according to the subsections as well as problems, research themes, to systemize the main activity points of the University.
2.1.5. Jointly with the appropriate subsections of NUS to perform the scientific, scientific research and methodological work, to predict its results for finding the opportunities for their introduction.
2.2. To solve the assigned tasks the Sector performs the following functions:
2.2.1. To provide the execution and conduction of the documentation dealing with the national budget, economy, research and development planning, contracts according to the regulations.
2.2.2. To control the terms of performing the research and development planning.
2.2.3. To form the project and the appropriate reporting according to the list of topics for the scientific research work financed at the expense of the national budget by MESU, Research and Development Planning performed by means of other sources of financing.
2.2.4. To provide the functional activity of SRD during planning, performing, control and reporting according to the national budget and economy research and development planning, forming the research and development planning archives.
2.2.5. To provide the preparation of materials for the inside competitive selection of research and development planning according to the priority directions of the science and technology development.
2.2.6. To perform the coordination of the scientific manpower, material and financial resources for solving the scientific problems according to the subject area of the University.
2.2.7. Jointly with the appropriate subsections of NUS to perform the patent and market research during the scientific research, methodological work execution, preparation of the propositions concerning reasonable introduction of the received results and transferring of rights, advertising, designing of the innovational and investment projects, business plans and perspective development programs of NUS.
2.2.8. Jointly with other subsections of NUS to perform monitoring and analysis of the results of scientific, scientific technical and scientific research activity for the timely detection of the objects for introduction which have the commercial potential.
2.2.9. To provide the approved reporting in the required time.
2.2.10. To organize the reference and information services for the particular scientists and specialists as well as to provide with the necessary scientific technical information according to the procedure of the interdisciplinary informational materials exchange.
