Preparatory Department

The Preparatory Department is founded with the aim to help the school leavers of the previous years to enter the higher educational institutions. It acts according to the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”.
The Preparatory Department admits the citizens of Ukraine that have senior secondary education, as well as the senior students of the higher educational institutions of the I-II accreditation level and professional teaching and educational institutions (on the basis of primary school). At the Preparatory Department the students study with or without discontinuing work (full time, evening or correspondence education) on the contract basis.
For students training there are such general subjects as mathematics, physics, Ukrainian language and literature. Except the core subjects there are the course of lectures on the University history and its specialities.
The highly qualified lecturers of the University teach the students.
After the finishing of the academic year the students of the Preparatory Department according to their educational qualification level are admitted to the first course of the University after showing their certificates from the Ukrainian Centre of Education Quality Assessment or the results of the interview for the shorter period of studying.
