Paid services at the NUS

The University has a system of paid services in various areas of activity:
• training of foreign and Ukrainian students at  University above the state inquiries in terms of the licensed amount of admission (on terms of the contract with physical persons or legal entities);
• obtaining the second higher education, the second qualification of a junior specialist, except the cases that are provided by the Law of Ukraine;
• Post-Graduate Studies above the state inquiries;
• training of workers of various trades above the state inquiries;
• training of students at the Preparatory Department of the University;
• transference and reinstatement of students to the University, except those who were on sabbatical leave and are transferred or reinstated due to the objective reasons;
• restudying of the particular subjects and courses and taking examinations by the expelled students;
• training and retraining of workers and specialists according to the State Employment Service of Ukraine inquiry;
• training of postgraduates and doctoral candidates out of the state inquiries;
• holding the Candidates' examinations;
• training of foreign students at the postgraduate course, doctoral candidacy, their study course, except those foreign citizens, who are the permanent residents of Ukraine;
• preparation  and holding of the defense of  the dissertation for obtaining the Candidate or Doctor degree, printing of the dissertation, printing and distribution of the author's abstracts (from dissertation), stenography of the defense (except the payment for the time of meetings of the Specialized Academic Council members);
• fees for scientific tutorials for people who upgrade their skills on their own;
• preparatory courses;
• lectures (on science and technology, culture and art, physical training and sports, jurisprudence, etc.);
• paid driving courses, study groups (facultative) on foreign languages, computer skills, playing musical instruments, choreography, fine arts, stenography and typewriting, dressmaking courses, decorating of the rooms, agrotechnology, zootechnics,  etc.;
• educational services out of the set curriculum volume;
• scientific tutorials for different population groups (young people over the state component of the educational process; postgraduates; doctoral candidates; enterprises and organizations of different ownership forms; individuals – concerning economy, technology, law, industrial engineering, etc.);
• visa support to foreign students;
• assistance in preparation of documents for Ukrainian students and lecturers who go abroad;
• preparation of documents for going abroad for the staff of the University and its branches for educational work or academic training abroad on the contract in foreign countries basis;
• the compensation-based organization of summer courses, schools, seminars, competitions, exhibitions, sports, recreation centers and travels;
• providing of the establishment of joint centers of education, firms, research groups and consultation centers;
• providing of services to Ukrainian and foreign citizens in legalization of documents on education;
• providing of ceremonial and information, domestic and translation services;
• providing of places for recreation and sports camps with proper health care;
• individual and group physical training and sports over standards established in curriculum;
• health groups organization;
• recreation centers, sports and recreation camps, sports clubs services, including sports equipment;
• providing of places for tourist recreation centers and camps;
• organization of thematic excursions;
• building, renovation and equipping of housing, garden houses, outdoor buildings, garages, storage facilities for vegetables and fruit, etc.;
• repair and maintenance of cars and other vehicles;
• service of car and other vehicle parking;
• repair of domestic appliances, television, audio, video;
• manufacturing and repair of hardware;
• manufacturing and repair of furniture, household wood products, horticultural equipment;
• photo, film, audio and video services;
• making and shoe repair, sewing and haberdashery;
• bath and laundry service, dry cleaning;
• hire of cultural and household purpose objects, garden, sports and other equipment, boats, tents, houses in the recreation centers;
• transportation of furniture, household goods and items of cultural and community purposes;
• provision of vehicles for public transportation, including travel and tour groups;
• transportation of fuel, vegetables, fruit, delivery of construction materials;
• loading and unloading works;
• providing of departmental hotels (houses, apartments for visitors) for temporary residence of tourists, participants of conferences, symposia, meetings, etc., individual citizens;
• providing of additional services to citizens who live in dormitories;
• production and sale of consumer goods;
• cultivation and sale of agricultural products and livestock products, collection of medicinal plants;
• providing of services by scientific, scientific and research, research and design departments of educational institutions;
• hire of buildings, facilities, equipment which are not related to the educational, industrial and scientific activity and do not deteriorate social conditions of workers and students;
• printing and publishing services;
• computer network "Internet" usage;
• providing of other services which are not prohibited by law.
