A group of students, who are eager to obtain a high level education, which is relevant to world educational standards, were gathered by International Maritime College in order to perform common educational program.
To carry out the first stage of the program, NUS instructors were sent to International Maritime College:
A.V. Myenyailova – English and Russian courses;
A.V. Korobko – Shipbuilding Sciences course.
Now the next step of joint general educational process is carried out. In 2011/2012 educational year group of students from ZIMC has arrived to NUS to get education on a speciality «Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering».
The group feature: training is performed only in English.
Students are taught the following disciplines:
Aerohydrodynamics (N.V. Ryndya, A.S. Brazhko);
Heat mass exchange (V.V. Kuznetsov.);
The theory of the ship and means of development of ocean (O.V. Pankova);
Structure of Ship Hull and Sea technique (B.M. Mikhailov);
Structural Mechanics of Ship and Sea technique (A.N. Serdyuchenko);
Sea technique (M.N. Huk);
CAD, CAE, CAM systems in shipbuilding (Y.A. Klyova).
As the instructors note, students do their best. They always attend classes, write excellent summaries, ask questions, and show that they are interested in the recounted information.
Practical trainings on the “Delta” motor vessel were performed by Boris Nikolayevich Mikhailov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associated professor from the Ship Hull Design Department.
Another trainings concerning ship hull design were carried out on the “Delta” motor vessel for Chinese students of the group 3115 on 27.12.2011 in order to stimulate students’ interest. Students attentively studied ship design, its facilities, systems and mechanisms. They also calculated displacement estimation according to draught marks, and evaluated localized loads on ship design when the water is still.
Truly yours,
