Do you know that thegraduates of theKherson branch of the NUOS got the first university degrees in 1995?
Most of the University and the Kherson branch specializations are polytechnic and unique for Kherson, Ukraine and even Russia.
The branch has modern logistics: educational building in the city center, computer center and modern computer rooms, technical laboratories, and a library.
Forms of education: full-time, extramural;on the state inquiry and by thecontract basis. About 1800 students are studying at the University.
Graduates of higher education institutions of the I-II levels of accreditation are able to take the II-III training courses on the integrated programs.
After obtaining the state university diplomas the Kherson branch graduates could be employed by machine-and shipbuilding companies, energy enterprises and institutions, construction, communication, businesses institutions, etc., related to different forms of ownership.
Everybody, who wants can be employed to the domestic and foreign ships after additional training.
High quality of education is provided by the modern technology, close ties with the production, highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff. The basic university scientists are involved in educational process, including many academicians, professors, heads of departments, deans and leading national economy specialists.
The Kherson branch of the NUOStrains in full-day and extramural forms of education in such prestigious specialties:
1. "Shipbuilding and Ocean Technologies" (Specialization – renovationof ships);
2. " Welding Technology and Equipment”;
3. " Ship Power Plants and Equipment”;
4. " Internal Combustion Engines”;
5. “Automation Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive ";
6. " Software for Automation Systems";
7. " Economics of Enterprise".
At the Kherson branch are eight-and five-month training courses, which begin their work respectively on October 1 and February 1.
Required documents for studying in full-time from of education are taken from July 15 till July 31, on the extramural form from July 15 till August 12.
The required documents for Admissions Department are:
- Certificates of the Ukrainian Educational Center of the Assessment Quality of the Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics and according to the applicant's choice: physics, Ukrainian history or foreign language (original or validate copies);
- Certificate of the Secondary Education; copy of the first two pages of passport (or birth certificate); 6 photos (size 3 x 4 cm);
- copy of the identification code, and a medical certificate 086-O (certificate must be obtainedaccording to the current residence, dated the current year, signed by all the doctors, should prove the student’s health abilityfor training and must be certified with the round clinic seal, and it should also contain information about x-rays and vaccinations of the applicant);
- excerpt from the work record card, if it is available (must be accompanied by the applicants on the extramural form of education, where people have priority with special (the previous experience should be at least one year), and the overall experience of practical work);
- military ID or pre-conscription certificate (for theyouth).
