The Educational Department plans, organizes and controls the educational process. The Department organizes all its activities and performs them by order of the University Administration. The Department coordinates the activities of the faculties and departments dealing with planning, organizing, providing the educational process with methodological and material and technical resources according to the level of modern requirements.
Within its activity the Educational Department is guided by the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, “On Language” and other legislative and standard acts, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine concerning higher education, The Regulations of the University and orders of the Rector.
The main task of the Department is to improve the teaching and educational process, to provide highly qualified staff. To realize this task the Department has experienced employees.
The Department works under the direction of the first Pro-rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Dubovyi O.M. The Director of the Department is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the NUS Dragan S.V.
The prospect activity of the Department’s work is to define the strategic directions of the University’s work within general European and international educational legal space: realization of the National program of the higher education development; introduction of the regulations of the Bologna Declaration and credit-modular system of educational process organization.
E d u c a t i o n a l M e t h o d o l o g i c a l D e p a r t m e n t
The Educational Methodological Department performs such functions as to organize, plan and control the educational methodological work, to organize all kinds of practical training, to promote a job placement of the University’s graduates. The Department prepares the return concerning its activities for the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and other organizations and works closely connected to the administrations of the Institutes, dean’s offices, departments and other subsections of the University.
The Department works under the direction of the first Pro-Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Dubovyi O.M. The Director of the Department is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associated Professor Batovkin V.I.
The main tasks of the Department:
• to monitor the educational methodological publications and to provide the scientific and organizational development of the educational methodological base of the University’s educational activity;
• to provide the scientific methodological development of the educational content and to improve the educational process organization;
• to provide the methodological and scientific introduction of the latest forms and methods of education;
• to perform the sociological research dealing with the improvement of the educational process organization and educational content;
• to organize all kinds of students’ practical training;
• to provide with methodological materials and control all kinds of students’ practical training;
• to promote a job placement of the University’s graduates.
All activity forces of the Educational Methodological Department together with departments, other educational and administrative subsections of the University are concentrated on the development of the educational content and improvement of the educational process organization with the aim to reach a new level of graduates’ training and to quicken the becoming of Ukraine a member of the European Educational Space saving every achievement of national higher institution and storing them with the European experience.
